News update 28.12.09

Thankyou to all those who attended the Christmas Party, I hope you all had fun. It was a great way for all the kids to meet, everyone looks so different out of riding clothes!!

A big thankyou to Melissa, Freya and of course Carlota, for doing such a wonderful job at the Christmas Party. I think it was the highlight of the day, so many lollies............. Check out the photo gallery for pictures from the party.

Lessons resume as normal from the 4th of January 2010, Please ring me or email if you have not yet booked your lesson. If you have already booked and decide not to turn up please remember the cancellation fee, if you know that you can not make your lesson please let me know before 6pm the day prior to your lesson.

Insurance- your insurance fee will be due the first lesson back in 2010, please remember new paper work will need to be filled out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

News update 24.11.09

Horse gear car park sale this weekend, huge tack room clear out...assorted rugs, bridles, saddlecloths, show gear, 15inch barrel racing saddle used 3 times.... and lots more....

News update 10.11.09

Christmas Time...... This years Christmas party will be held on Wednesday the 23rd of December from 4pm till 6pm, the cost for the party is $10 per person this includes food, drinks, and games. Parents are more than welcome to stay or you can drop off and pick up. Come dressed in your best Christmas outfit!

Santa might even visit..............

Money for the party to be paid no later than the 18th of December.

 

Lessons over the Christmas holidays- Last lesson in December will be the 22nd lessons will resume on the 4th of January 2010. 

News update 15.10.09

The final camp day/ribbon day for these school holidays was held yesterday, all riders braved the wind to compete.

Emily-Rose took out rider of the day receiving a $25 gift voucher kindly donated by Horseworld Hunter Valley, all other riders in attendance received a $10 voucher donated by Horseworld Hunter Valley. 

Although it was a very windy day, it was a great day, horses were presented beautifully, I loved the "CAUTION" painted on Chocolates rump (good work Caeley).

Riders competed in a best presented class and 2 dressage tests.

Congratulations to everyone I hope you all had a great day. 

News update 3.10.09

Today was the first holiday camp held these school holidays, those in attendance were: Emily-Rose and her pony Lyric, Ella on Sales, Macia on Chip, Caeley on Chocolate, Melissa on-board Phoebe and Chloe on the lovely Emily.  Next Wednesday is the annual Ribbon day, good luck to all those competing.

Also a big Thank you to Freya for all her help today!!!

In other news, Sales has been sold to his new family, he left today. Sales will now be living on a property in Gresford and attending Paterson River Pony Club, I will keep everyone updated on how he is going. Wish Sales and his new owners all the best!!!

News update 1.9.09

Salt Ash Spring show was the first show back this season, I rode Barbie (Westlake Sunkissed), go to show news for Results and Video. Nicole rode her horse Imperial for the day, Nicole placed in all her events taking home two 3rd place ribbons and a 2nd place. Congratulations Nicole and Imperial! Also a big thank you to Keari for being our groom/strapper/photographer for the day.

A big thank you to Freya for helping set up the video's currently on the website, without Freya this would not of happened, THANKYOU FREYA....

News update 31.7.09

Happy Birthday to all the horse's tomorrow!!!!!

Riding is now back to normal after the holiday break, please remember the cancellation policy, if you have booked your lesson and need to cancel you must do so by 5.30pm the day prior to your lesson or the full fee is payable before you ride next.

By now you may have noticed the new horse in the stable's , FB is currently for sale, more details on the Horse's for Sale page.

If you have a horse for sale please let me know and I will put on the site, also I will put up Wanted ads, either drop me an email or talk to me at your next lesson.

 

News update 22.07.09

The 2nd camp day was  held on the 22.07.09 it was very windy, although it was so windy we all had a great day. Emily-Rose had here new pony Lyric at the camp, and she was very well behaved. Abby and Ella also had their own horses at the camp, Star and Empire. Melissa shared Empire with Ella, both riders rode extremely well. Macia and Caeley rode Sales and Emily. All the horses at Raceview are now having a well deserved break until Monday when lessons will resume as normal.

Also a big Happy Birthday to Melissa, who was lucky enough to spend her birthday riding! Happy Birthday Melissa!

News update 15.7.09

The first camp day was held today, we had a beautiful day, with the rain holding off until we had finished. The day consisted of a flat work session, followed by a horse management session, and lastly a jumping session. All the horses and riders had a great day.

If you are interested in attending one of these clinics, please remember its a first in basis.

News update 20.6.09 

The school holiday camps are now booked out. If you wish to put your name down for the next camp please let me know....

The last Coalfields riding day had a lot of riders from Raceview Park attend with great success, Casey, Jack, Macia, Caeley and Katie to name a few all leaving with ribbons, congratulations guys. If you would like to let everyone know of your results please email them to me or bring them with you to your next lesson so that I can post them up for all to see your great achievements.

July holiday camp update: spots are filling up quickly, I have one school horse left for any one wanting to use a school horse for the camp. If you have your own horse I still have a couple of spots available. Please book quickly as the camps have proven to be very popular and I am only taking limited numbers. The camps will be run regardless of the weather. If you require more infomation don't hesitate to ask.

 July School Holidays- Another camp will be held in the July school holidays, again it will only be open to limited numbers, the dates are Wednesday 15th and Wednesday 22nd, the cost will be $90 per child, per day. Arrival time 9.30am and pick up 2.30pm, bring lunch and drinks etc...

A day full of riding, fun and learning, if you are interested in attending please book and pay for your spot asap!

Camp day number 2, Not such a sunny day as last week, although just as much fun was had. It was a very busy day, firstly with Keari being assessed for her coaching certificate, passing with flying colours, congratulations Keari!! We started the day with a theory lesson followed by a flat work lesson, all the horses behaved, although I still think they were tired from last week. We had rain on and off but it did'nt dampen the day. Melissa gave us a harness demo, with Carlota looking just as tired as the other horses, she did her best. After lunch a jumping lesson, followed by a well deserved brush down or in Chippy and Chocolates case a wash. Congratulations to all the riders who attended the camps, I thought you all rode really well and it was a fantastic couple of days.

 

Barbie had a great day at the latest Coalfields riding day, check out show news for her results. A few riders from Raceview Park attended the day, including, Nicole on imperial, Casey on Zip, Macia and chippy and Caeley on the beautiful Chocolate. All having a successful day.

The first holiday camp day was held on a glorious day 15/4/09. The day started with a flat work lesson in the morining, followed by horse management, and show prep, after lunch a jumping lesson, the horses and riders on their best behaviour, fun was had by all. Melissa has taken Carlota to her first show and walked away with 1st place! Congratulations Melissa and Carlota all that hard work payed off. Carlota and of course Melissa looked beautiful on the day, and luckily enough the rain held off untill after there class.

Lessons are now back up and running after the christmas and new year break, hope everybody had a great christmas! Please be aware of the cancellation policy printed on the services page.  All the horses are well rested after their break, and keen for the new year of lessons.  Also in the news Melissa and Carlota are preparing for there first show together, they will be competing at this years Cessnock show on the 13th of February, we wish them the best of luck. Photos of them competing will be posted on the site after the show.

Lessons over the school holidays-

Lessons will continue as usual over the school holidays, in exception to christmas week 22nd-26th and new years day.

Christmas party time..........

This years christmas party will be held at Raceview Park on Tuesday the 23rd of December starting at 12 and finishing at 2pm. There is a small fee to attend $5 per person, to be paid no later than the 19th of December. There will be lots of games, pizza, drinks and party food. The Christmas party is a horse free day, but lots of the games are horse related! Hope you can all come. It will be loads of fun.

The Ribbon day held on the 3rd October 2008 was another successful day, with loads of ribbons and prizes being won! Emily-Rose won best presented rider, Amber, Emily-Rose and Tahlia won best presented school horse with Emily, she looked fabulous with her green and blue mane and stars, and Melissa took out best presented own horse with Carlota. The dressage was a close competition and also the sporting with too many results to mention. 

The day was hot and windy but with horses and riders on there best behaviuor, it was a great day. Check out the photo gallery for some pics of the day.  

 

 

 Ribbon Day!!!!!!!!  A ribbon day held these school holidays. Friday 3rd of October from 9am, presentation of the awards and ribbons will be done at 2.30pm, the cost for the day is $60, ($50 each if 2 or more riders from the one family). Your are encouraged to bring your own horse if you have one, if you don't you can use the school horses. Riders will be put into ability groups to keep it fair. The morning program will include a best presented class and dressage comp, in the afternoon will be sporting and games, with lots of prizes to be won. Please bring your lunch and snacks etc.....If you would like to compete at the ribbon day you must book.

The horses will have a break the second week of the school holidays, lessons will resume when school goes back.

A new Pony has joined the Raceview Park team Emily a little grey Austrailian Pony, she is 10years old and 12hh, and already she is a favourite. Emily recently competed at Coalfields Riding club, and proved she can still compete with the best of them, bringing home a couple of sashes. Emily is a very educated pony, she has competed at many agricultural shows and Royal shows including Sydney Royal Easter Show, she has competed at state level pony club. She jumps, she hacks, she is a great alrounder.

Emily is settling in well and loves all the cuddles and attention she is getting, keep them coming!

 

 

 

 Also in the news Casey and her very own pony Zip competed at the latest Coalfields day, bringing home the ribbons including Reserve Champion led pony! This was Casey and Zips first competition and they did great, congratulations Casey and Zip you both did an excellent job and should be very proud. Zip was presented beautifully and Casey rode like a true champion, Im sure this will be a combination to watch, with many more ribbons to be won in the future.
